I started this to document a month long stay in Paris. I continue it because the work makes me think. My goals are simple and selfish; to write about things that interest me. Paris seems the perfect place to start: food, gardens, fashion, food, art, architecture,food. As an older person with a job I am amazed and inspired by the writing that so many people have the time to do so well. I started Check the Recipe when I found myself doing some test baking that needed documentation. This one is all food all the time (well,almost all the time.)
